I've installed Drupal 8, this was mainly my reason for the update and Drupal 8 works perfect with admin and logging in to configuration. I looked back at the functioning site and saw that 2 cookies are generated: ‘has_js’ and a session ID cookie. My persisting issue is that the dblog has "access denied" entries accompanying normal page loads, but I guess that's a new question, eh? http://itcqis.com/you-are/you-are-not-authorized-to-view-this-page-403.php In google chrome : Ctrl+Shift+delete, and clear the cookies.

I have verified that the session id is being saved to the session table in the database. What should I try next?
