Using the Help/Support features in Windows I managed to narrow down the culprit in the Systems tab of MSCONFIG to "Plug and Play". Discussion in 'Computer Help' started by kd5, Oct 26, 2013. It means my computer is happy again! Are you running any third- > party drivers that use a drive letter for a special device?

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? It will fix the problems that can create these errors and prevent new ones from occurring.
