Rather than pulling the leads all the way out, and having to disassemble all the cover areas to get to them, it was easier to just clip the leads near where Check the signal on Pin 1 (CN10) on the main board. The new error that we have now is "replace waste toner cartridge", which we emptied by hand and replaced.
I don't want to have to call a repair man if I can tweek it myself. I have switched the color cartridges around and that didn't fix the issue. There is a lighter black "line" too, but on the other side of the paper.I've asked the printer using the menu to REMOVE PRINT SMEARS several times and it doesn't work.Any No data, just my experience.
- Have your serial number handy.
- Remove the front cover and check the waste motor harness (CN2) DEVE_OEM to waste motor.
- Your answer needs to include more details to help people.
- I have similar problems described above.
- I'm only certified on 42 of their products so i'm just guessing.
- Thought it was fixed!
- Remove the HVPS cover and check the HVPS OEM harness (CN2) to DEVE_OEM (CN1).

I use at least one a week and feel bad having to charge customers that much for them but such is life. I printed diagnostic pages and blue smudge lines appeared in the various color blocks. I thought this might be a print cartridge problem, but I am unsure since the Supplies Usage Report says the cyan print cartridge has 50\% of its life left. All of my consumables will be compatible.

Snap in new sensor in the plastic mounting bracket, reattach the bracket and you're good to go. The waste motor error usually occurs because the printer is run without the waste toner cartridge and the port where the waste toner exits is clogged.
If I turn machine off and unplug seems to help.Had xerox here three times, the last time before my contract expired they changed the logic board. Source I usually just clip and splice the wires just behind the inner cover.

It's been cleaned dozens of times, but this time it didn't work. If it's the black switch the black imaging drum with the magenta, see if the problem follows the drum. Also exercise processes run with the process motor; transfix, drum maintenance and head tilt.
