WU keeps offering the same update over & over. what did work was to download and run windows update agent, I let it run for 4 hours before it succeeded getting and update past sp3, and now it works perfectly. - tried Arun's fix-------restarted pc and now window update works.
- I created a blog post on my website with detailed instructions and links to the updates you'll need to download.
- I was getting conflicts with my video driver so my display reverted to 640x480.
- Should fix the problem.

It started with 2 updates, then I rebooted, then 2 more & rebooted, then .NET 3.5 & I rebooted, but THEN this time it came back with more than 10 updates!! Install SP 3 manually. I was using Seagate Disk Wizard to restore an older image (about 1year ago) and it was out of date.
